Get Phantom
Step by step — even if you have never touched crypto before.
Solana — SOL for short — is digital money. You buy it with your own currency, like you would buy a foreign one.
It works like an account number: a long string that belongs only to you. Whatever is sent there lands in your balance.
Buy, paste the address, send. One or two minutes later the money is there. That is all.
Step 0
This is where the money goes. Copy it now — you need it on every path.
Sign in or connect a wallet — then your address appears here with a QR code.
Four paths
All lead to the same place. Tap one — the guide is below.
Time: about 15 minutes · 6 steps
Phantom is an app that holds your money — this kind of app is called a "wallet".
Download it from the App Store or Play Store. On a computer it comes as a browser extension.
Get PhantomOn first launch you create a new wallet. The app shows you twelve words.
Write them on paper, in that order. Anyone with these words can access your money — including you, should your phone ever be lost.
Never type the twelve words anywhere, never photograph them, never share them. SCORE will never ask for them.
In Phantom, tap "Buy". Choose Solana (SOL) and enter how much you want to spend.
You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A payment provider handles the purchase; depending on your country and the amount, you verify your identity once.
The provider's fee is shown before you confirm. A few minutes later the SOL is in your wallet.
Open SCORE and tap your balance. Your address is shown there with a QR code.
Tap "Copy address". Or simply hold the QR code up to the camera when sending.
In Phantom, tap "Send" and choose Solana. Paste your SCORE address or scan the QR code.
Enter the amount — at least 0.01 SOL — and confirm.
Before confirming, compare the address: the first four and last four characters must match SCORE.
After one or two minutes the money is in your balance. The first time, around 0.0011 SOL of account rent is deducted once — Solana charges that, not SCORE.
Time: about 15 minutes · 5 steps
Solflare is also a wallet — an app that holds your money. It is available for phones and as a browser extension.
Get SolflareOn first launch you receive twelve words. Write them on paper, in order, and keep the paper somewhere safe.
Whoever has the twelve words has your money. SCORE never asks for them — nobody legitimate does.
Tap "Buy", choose SOL and the amount. You pay by card or Apple Pay / Google Pay through a payment provider.
The provider's fee is shown before you confirm. A few minutes later the SOL is in the wallet.
In SCORE, tap your balance, then "Copy address".
In Solflare tap "Send", choose SOL, paste the address or scan the QR code, enter the amount — at least 0.01 SOL — and confirm.
Compare the first four and last four characters of the address, then confirm.
One or two minutes, then it is in your balance. The first time around 0.0011 SOL of account rent, after that only the tiny network fee.

An exchange is a marketplace for digital money. Well-known ones include Coinbase, Kraken, Bitpanda and Binance.
When signing up you verify your identity — usually with an ID document and a short video. This can take up to a day.
CoinbaseTransfer money to your exchange account (bank transfer) or pay by card. Then search for "Solana" or "SOL" and buy the amount you want.
At the exchange choose "Send", "Withdraw" and then Solana.
The network MUST be "Solana" — not Ethereum, not anything else. Paste your SCORE address, enter the amount (at least 0.01 SOL) and confirm. Usually a code arrives by SMS or app.
Wrong network = money gone. Under "network", always pick Solana.
Exchanges sometimes take a few minutes longer. Once the SOL arrives at the address, it is in your balance one or two minutes later.
Time: under a minute · 3 steps
In SCORE tap "Connect wallet" and pick yours — Phantom, Solflare or another one.
The wallet asks once whether SCORE may see it. Seeing is not accessing: nothing moves without your signature.
Tap your balance, pick an amount, press "Deposit". Your wallet shows you the transfer — you confirm it with one tap.
A few seconds later the money is in your balance.
You can also send SOL to your SCORE address like on the other paths. That takes one or two minutes.
Important
Short, but each one has already cost somebody money.
Send nothing else to your address — no Ethereum, no Bitcoin, no coins over other networks. They would never arrive.
Less is not collected. It stays put and is credited together with your next deposit.
Before sending, compare the first four and the last four characters with the address in SCORE. A transfer cannot be reversed.
Solana charges around 0.0011 SOL once to create your account on the chain. After that only the network fee — a tiny fraction.
No app, no site, no staff member ever needs them. Whoever asks wants your money.

Your display is set to SOL. Switch to euro or dollar in the settings.
If something is stuck
The questions that come up most often.
Check in the wallet or at the exchange whether the transfer shows as "confirmed" or "completed". As long as it is still running there, it is still running for us too.
Check the address. Do the first and last characters match your SCORE address?
Is the amount below 0.01 SOL? Then it waits for your next deposit.
As much as you want to bet — no more. A small amount to try things out is enough; you can always top up.
The first time, a bit more than the minimum is worth it: the one-time account rent otherwise takes a noticeable bite out of a small amount.
With a wallet, your money stays in your wallet until you deliberately move it to your balance with "Deposit" — every movement needs your signature.
With an account (name and password) the server keeps the key to your address. Keep your password secret and add an email — then withdrawals need a code that only you receive.
In the balance sheet under "Withdraw". The money goes to your wallet — so you need one to withdraw, even as an account player. How to set one up is explained above under Phantom or Solflare.
